How We Work
Discover how our studio creates and executes timeless designs, taking care of all the steps from A to Z.
Italian Stone Design, LLC is a Californian firm with an associated Italian company which was specifically created for the US market. Although it is the youngest company owned by the De Filippis family, it is actually based on four generations experience in stone and design, resulting in many projects which have been successfully realized during the last 25 years all over the world.
Our professional team of designers, architects and engineers is based in Florence Italy, working in the sister company under the name of Interior Design Firenze srl . The studio is located in the formal first residence of the Pitti family descendants in Pitti Square facing the more famous Pitti Palace - historical residence of the Medici family during the Renaissance time.
On the US side our professional team of administrators and accountants are local people hired in California who know how to navigate the trade world and keep up to date with all the state regulations.
The president, Isse De Filippis, is a licensed contractor with specific classification C29 masonry, C33 painting and decoration and C54 ceramic and mosaic tiles.
